The University's very first "University-launched Venture Company" was establiehed

 

To support healthcare in developing countries with a medical device management and education system using Japanese clinical engineering technology

 

  Graduate School of Health Innovation (hereinafter SHI) at Kanagawa University of Human Services is fostering the next generation of healthcare innovators in areas of social system and cutting-edge technologies based on “ME-BYO” concept.

  We are pleased to announce that our graduate, Daisuke Inagaki, has established “Redge Inc.” as the university's very first “university-launched” venture (research venture) company.

Representative (CEO): Daisuke Inagaki (completed the program at SHI in 2022)

Business Range: Research, development and sales of medical device management and education system

Company Vision: To realize a world with medical safety and quality guaranteed to all people through

                            establishing a medical device network, as well as developing medical device

                            management and education system.

 

2 Support and Cooperation from the University

  This project was backed up by the GAP Fund Program of JST*'s SCORE** University Promotion Type (Developing the Environment for Creation of Startup Ecosystem in Startup Cities Type) T-UNITE *** platform, in which the University has participated as a joint institute.

  We, primarily the faculty supervisor of Mr. Inagaki, have been providing companionship and support to him, who aspired to start his own business, with opportunities to receive advice and guidance from experts, as well as assistance for the contest application.

 

  We will continue to provide support for solving social issues through entrepreneurship by participation in GTIE****, the successor to T-UNITE, as a joint institute, and utilization of our university's network and other resources.
